ACA is excited to present the first in a series of discussions with leading Australian and International personalities in the performing arts. This Friday, November 16th, join Susan Batson at ACA in conversation with Artistic Director, Dean Carey. Batson, who has been dubbed 'the Oscar Coach' by many, has coached Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly, Juliette Binoche and Jamie Foxx to name a few. ACA's Graduates 2007 Company with Special Guest Rhys Muldoon

On October 15th ACA officially graduated Company 2007 with the help of special guest Rhys Muldoon. After Associate Director, Simon Hunt, abseiled in from the ceiling mission impossible style with the graduation certificates, Rhys treated the students, families and friends to a humorous, honest and entertaining account of earning a living in the Australian performing arts. Congratulations to... ACA graduate Kallista Kaval, who has landed a lead role in the new ABC mini-series, Bed of Roses. Kallista graduated from ACA's full-time course, The Journey, in June this year and joins an impressive cast headed by Kerry Armstrong. Currently filming in Melbourne, Bed of Roses is due to air on the ABC in mid 2008. Full Story

dramatic INtent... Earlier this year ACA was invited to program a new initiative for this year's Surry Hills’ Festival held on October 13th. A performing arts tent was launched called dramatic INtent which was a huge success. The talk-show format attracted large crowds throughout the day to meet, up close and personal, industry experts in their fields. Full Story

Upcoming Shows... From November 22nd ACA 2nd Year Company presents Reality Bytes. An array of real life characters, interviewed by the students, then performed word for word. Here are people's truths, fears, dreams, certainties and inconsistencies - uncensored and under the spotlight. Then from November 29th, ACA 1st Year Company presents their first devised work.
